From December through March in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, deep snow and endless pristine backcountry are our wintertime hallmarks. Snow machines are best for exploring the area, and the National parks and wilderness surrounding Jackson Hole have some of the finest snowmobiling in the country.
Snowmobile and snowcoach tours originating from Jackson are now operated by Scenic Safaris, and whether you want to explore the area for a day or enjoy multiple days of snowmobiling, they can accommodate your needs.
Jackson Hole & Yellowstone Snowmobile Tours
Goosewing Ranch is accessible only by snowmobile during winter; therefore we do not offer lodging during the winter months. Day and multi-day guided tours into Yellowstone or the Teton backcountry surrounding the area originate from Jackson and are operated by Scenic Safaris.
If snow machines are not for you, we offer a daily snowcoach ride to Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park.
These activities offer a unique way to see the area during winter.
For each snowmobile tour, we provide a complete snowmobile outfit, including a one-piece suit, boots, helmet, gloves or mittens, balaclava, and hand warmers. Layering is advised for comfort. Fleece or sweatshirts, thermals, winter hat and gloves are important. On overnight packages please pack lightly for transfer purposes; a small duffle bag per person is recommended.
